Shearwater. The band, not the bird.

Stereopathic is pleased to announce totally blown away that Shearwater is playing at the Bell Tower in Pullman on Tuesday, April 20th Friday, April 30th. The show starts at 8 PM. WOMEN on phones

(Left to right: Matt – bass, Patrick – guitar, vocals, Chris – guitar, Mike – drums)

WOMEN recently stopped through humble Moscow, ID between shows in Salt Lake City and Spokane.  The show was advertised for only two days but drew over 100 people to hear WOMEN play at the Nuart Theater alongside local bands The Oolongs and Yarn Owl.

Stereopathic was proud to bring them out, and enjoyed the chance to discuss the band’s influences and tour experiences on KUOI with Mike Siemens the next day.  I’m not going to lie; the interview was a little awkward. But we had a jolly good time embracing the inherent weirdness of a radio interview with a relatively obscure band on a completely unknown radio station in a sleepy college town most folks don’t even know exists.  Everyone had fun and we here at Stereopathic take our hats off to this fine group of young men.

Here’s the entire interview:

Starting at 6:00 PM is the Stereopathic Records Release Party with new music from several of our artists. There will be snacks and short performances from each of our bands. The party is Free.

Jared Dunn’s band will start on the main stage at 7:30 PM and play a full set. This show will be $5 (or a family rate of $12 for up to 5 people: Mom, Dad, and some kids).

After scouring the town for the most sonically-pleasing venue, we settled on the Nuart Theater on Main Street.

Brady will be playing at the Garden Lounge this Saturday night (April 5th) starting at 7:15 PM. More details to come. This is a benefit concert for cancer and is one of only 2 live music events that the Garden typically puts on each year – so DON’T MISS IT.

There will also be a guest appearance from Mike Siemens of This Kid’s Not Supposed to Be in the Family Portrait.
