Hello Folks – if you’ve been to the site recently, you might’ve noticed a new category up top: Green Room.

We’re launching a new film project where we’ll be capturing live, backstage performances from acts passing through our little town.

We’re still fine-tuning the process and working out the kinks, but we’d like to invite you to take a look and give us your feedback.

Our first Green Room session was with a local artist, Jared Dunn, performing “When I Fear the Darkest Night.” Come on back to the green room, sit down indian style on the floor, and listen in with us.

Very nice, everybody–Jared most of all.

    too much vignette. otherwise, great.

The vignette was all natural from the lens and we couldn’t do anything about it. Sheff’s getting a fancy camera soon though – so that’ll be sorted out on the next video.

This is a GREAT idea. I think it adds a lot to the blog. The sound is great on the video too. Hopefully you guys can catch every artist that comes through. A thought: what if you had a mini interview at the end of each session? or maybe beginning? I’m thinking sort of like on Austin City Limits. Just one question with the artists; that might add a little something-something to the video.

These will show up when you search for the artist on youtube and stuff right?

    Cool stuff!
