brSo – I end up doing this all day via instant message with my friends, facebook here and there, and lala.com. I might as well make it official, eh?

So, here’s Larson’s List (of things worth checking out) for today.

Cool new Land of Talk music video. These rockers don’t often lay down mellow jams like this one, but when they do, you’d better be ready for something cool. Stereopathic’s Seattle correpsondant, Robert Ham, will be covering their show at the High Dive next month, so keep your eye’s peeled for that.

Webisode 6 from the forthcoming Blacrok project dropped this last week. Blakroc is a collaboration where the boys from the Black Keys lay down one of their signature blues/rock jams and various rappers fill in the vocals. Those rappers include Mos Def, Pharoahe Monch, ODB, Q-Tip, Ludacris, and more. I’m not going to lie – I’m very excited about this thing. If you’ve ever made music or been involved with the process, you’ll love these webisodes. Just watching their laid back process of making music is pretty inspiring.

Larson likes music almost as much as he likes telling people about the music he likes. Say that three times fast.
