STERNEOPARBICSome songs to end the week strong.

We had a bit of a discussion earlier in the week about The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Regardless of outside considerations, they write catchy pop songs. This one especially sounds like a weekend tune:
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart – Young Adult Friction mp3
A week or so ago Rachel posted a bit on Micachu. I’ve been digging this track quite a bit. Quick, smart, and dancey:
Micachu – Golden Phone mp3
Even though I’m not listening to the record yet – mainly because Ed seemed so bummed about the leak on twitter – I am listening to this song. I’m stoked and headed to the Portland show in May:
Grizzly Bear – Cheerleader mp3
I didn’t get into Dan Deacon’s first record, but after much battering Bromst has found its way to the right place in my brain:
Dan Deacon – Paddling Ghost mp3
The last one here is a great song from The Zombies. A couple chords from the intro actually serve as the Panda Bear version of “Guys Eyes” off of MPP, back when that song was known as “Song For Ariel.” Realizing that drew me into the song, but it stands on its own:
The Zombies – Leave Me Be mp3

Micachu is delish. Horse Feathers coming to the Nuart is sending shivers down my spine. How did you guys manage that? Very well I’m guessing…
