We Call Him 'Pops' Boilen
Some of us can’t be at South By Southwest. We don’t care. It really is not a big deal. We’re happy to stay here at home and just experience the festival vicariously. Perfectly happy. What? You can cry when you’re happy.

Perhaps the best resource for keeping up with SXSW activities is NPR. (Is that not a cool thing to say? Because it sounds not cool). Bob Boilen (pictured left) and his team do some great things to bring music to the people all year long, but they’ve really stepped it up for SXSW. They’ve been live-streaming and then archiving a number of great shows. If it’s not the next best thing to being there, it’s the next best thing we’ve found.
